South Miami's Coconut Grove is still South Florida's “diamond in the rough” and a stark contrast to sometimes noisy Miami Beach. Despite its many years of existence, it still manages to capture the attention of residents who want the old-time charm of “The Grove” fused with the lively South Florida experience. The relaxed vibe coupled with tree-lined streets and a variety of properties make Coconut Grove much too appealing to pass up.
None other than the Ritz-Carlton is one of the Coconut Grove condos comprising Coconut Grove real estate. Many of the Coconut Grove homes are located within walking distance from the popular spots like Biscayne Bay and the Grove’s naturally beauteous parks. Unlike Coral Gables where practically all of the properties are high priced, Coconut Grove has a tremendous amount of diversity when it comes to price ranges.
In terms of shopping, entertainment and dining, Coconut Grove's shopping mall known as CocoWalk is perhaps its most famous landmark and still remains a major attraction. However Coconut Grove is also near Coral Gables which has its own variety of activities as well as the Downtown Miami area.
