The Dadeland area has become the Central Business District for East Kendall and is best known for Dadeland Mall, which is the anchor for for the area. While the center is located on Kendall Drive between US1 and the Palmetto Expressway, the Dadeland area encompasses a large area west to Baptist Hospital and East to Pinecrest.
